I fixed it!

As some of you may have read in an earlier post i accidentally broke the computer that i was going to send to the Philippines. I did it while i was cleaning the insides out with a vacuum cleaner. Well, the very next day i had the video card checked out because the problem was when i booted up, i would not receive any screen signals. After pondering over the problem over night i finally figured out what i did wrong. This processor has a BIG heat sink sitting right on top of it and then a BIG cooling fan on top of that. The main board also has a locking bar for the processor that locks the chip onto the board but in order to lock the processor back onto the main board you must separate the processor from the heat sink and cooling fan. That's what i failed to do. Instead i just pushed the processor onto the board like a dummy. I should have known better. Obviously pushing the processor back onto the board is not going to cut it. After realizing what I'd done the problem was solved and the computer was finally put in a balikbayan box ready to be sent to the Philippines. Thank GOD that's over with! Now my wife's sister can have a fast and reliable computer to talk to us with.
