Paula Deen
My grandmother loves watching Paula Deen on the food network. She loves to cook southern food, so she likes to cook most of Paula Deen’s recipes. She says that she watches her show at the same time everyday and tries to write down all of her recipes. However, she said that sometimes she does not write fast enough and she does not get all of the ingredients written down. I told my grandmother that she should be able to look up all the recipes online. She said that she does not have the internet and she does not even know if she can get the internet at her house. I told her that she should Get Wild Blue internet. She asked me more about it and I helped her schedule it to be set up. After she had internet at her house, I showed her how to go to Paula Deen’s website, as well as a bunch of other websites where she could find recipes. Now, every week my grandmother calls me and tells me about the new recipe she is trying and how happy she is that she has the internet.

Phone Orders
Phone orders are such a huge part of my business but to be honest with you, I hate being on the phone. I can’t stand having to talk to telemarketers or even my own vendors and I have a hard time dealing with clients that way and would much prefer online. But since so many of my clients are elderly they prefer to call in and speak to a real person so I do what I can to make sure that will happen when they call me. I got business voip service to make the connection better and I even had someone come out and reconfigure the answering service to make sure everything was taken care of on that end. I’ve been trying to push online purchases hard but until that day comes I guess I just need to suck it up and get better about talking on the phone, particularly when just about every phone call makes me money! Who would have thought that would be the case in this day and age?

Dare Devil
I was once told by an old man in my neighborhood that time flies and if you’re not careful life will pass you by. Throughout my life I tried to constantly remind myself of what the old man said and I tried to live by those words. Most of my youth was spent living life to the fullest and I feel like even now in my early forties that I have lived a complete life already. I never turned down a chance to take a risk, like going skydiving or riding a really scary ride at the amusement park nobody wanted to go on. Basically, the old mans words drove me to do some fairly crazy things but I have never looked back on anything I’ve ever done and regretted it. As I get older I realize more and more that the old man was right and that life can and will pass you by in the blink of an eye. The older you get the faster life goes and if you don’t live it to the fullest it truly will pass you by. I was recently telling my wife this story of what the old man had said to me and she totally agreed. While we were talking about all the good decisions we’ve made throughout our lives she mentioned http://www.CableTelevision.com/ and I was extremely happy she did. Now, I just have to make sure we get our tickets for the next iron man competition.

Elaborately Broken Pacing and Harven Birdman: Attorney at Law
The article written by Karl Morgan
Being a comedy writer means that I'm always looking around for inspiration. Most of the time, I find that my own life is strange enough to inspire some comedy writing, but sometimes I have to take things to a new extreme. Sometimes, I need to shock my brain into thinking in different ways. Sometimes, I need to watch a cartoon like Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law.
Harvey Birdman is, for lack of a better word, absolutely crazy. I've never watched a show that even approaches its narrative speed. Episodes can span several minutes or several decades, and characters can change their appearance, demeanor, and backstory on a dime. The jump-cuts are loud and exciting, the music is deliberately cheesy, and the dialogue is deliberately rushed and stilted. I mean, it's like they've set out to create the worst cartoon of all time, but they've done it on purpose. The effect is truly hilarious.
If you have a Satellite TV subscription from www.TVbyDirect.com, just flip onto Adult Swim and check it out on Saturday. You won't know what you're watching, and you won't be able to keep up with the show until you're used to it. Really, though, that's the point. You have to surrender yourself to it and let the absurdity wash over you.

State fair fun time
I hate to admit it, but I've never been to the state fair. i've just always gone to the county one because I grew up four hours from the state captial and my parents never wanted to drive that far when we had teh county fair to go to. So now that I'm in college and just about a 20 minute drive from the fair grounds, I've decided to go with my roommmate.
There's a bus that takes us from campus to the fairgrounds for free, so I'm pretty psyched about that. I found that info with our DIRECT TV internet bundle CLEAR and that also we get a student discount! I'm all about saving money as much as I can, besides I am a poor unemployed college student.
Now, I love riding scary rides but now that I'm a little bit older they scare me a little more because I worry about the safety of them. So what we're most excited about is the section of the fair where all teh food vendors are and eat our weight in fried food.

No Demands...Just On Demand
Author: Miles King
The smell of popcorn is wafting from the kitchen to the living room, as my husband and I settle in on the couch beside a newly kindled flame in the fireplace. As he flips through the channels (he makes this a habit, which drives me crazy), it dawns on me that we can now watch movies on demand from www.tvbydirect.com/directv-deal/OHIO-OH-direct-tv.html. Finally, there is something to agree on.
I appreciate that in demand is divided into categories so we can develop a better sense of what we're in the mood for. After the week we both had, a comedy wins out. As I go to get the popcorn, I just think to myself what a nice evening this is. As the rain beats down on the awning, it is comforting to watch on demand movies and not have to trek to the theater.
Watching on demand movies on satellite tv has made the weekends so relaxing and enjoyable. Handfuls of popcorn later, I am enjoying the comedy we chose. My husband turns to me at the end and asks if I'm ready for another. After pressing a couple of buttons, a new cinematic adventure begins, and I rest my head comfortably on his shoulder. Why can't every part of life be as easy and nice as watching a movie at home?

Girls Next Door
Guest post written by Kim Knoxs
One of the best reality shows on television is called "Girls Next Door." I am addicted to this reality show, because it depicts the lives of three playmates living at Hef's Playboy mansion. I think it is an amazing show and always try to watch it on my direct tv hd receiver. Why is this show so fascinating? Well, first it is just interesting to see the pure luxury that comes along with living in a place like the Playboy mansion. There are servants willing to help the Playmates for just about anything! In addition, it is cool to watch the staff be on hand and available to the girls 24/7. There are always awesome events being hosted at the Playboy mansion too. Each Playmate is usually responsible for throwing one or two events of her own throughout the season of "Girls Next Door." One fun episode featured Kendra throwing her event, which was a baseball game complete with hot dog vendors and cotton candy machines. Another fun episode features a rolling skating event, where a set of twins decided to throw this fun event. It seems like some of the Playmates are genuine people too and actually care about Hef, which is also nice to see.
I love watching the show Girls Next Door and recommend it for anyone with an interest in the life of high profile celebs getting to live at the mansion!

Children Should Be Cautioned About The Use Of The Internet
The internet is a great place to find all kinds of information and since children are using it as a resource for homework we knew when it was time to introduce our daughter to the net. We had already given her permission to use the one computer in our home and watched as she learned to navigate the many options in the word processing program and the games that came with it, but had not yet given her permission to access the internet.
After we installed satellite internet specials for our home we went ahead and allowed her to begin accessing the internet with the assurance that we had a backup program installed as well. With parental controls in the background we felt pretty safe about letting her browse the internet. Of course we had taken the time to give her advice about was acceptable and what was not.
We made sure to let her know that she was not allowed to give out her personal information to anyone online even if she thought she might know them she was told not to give out this information over the internet. Of course, she thought we were a little old fashioned but she knew that if she did and we found out she would no longer have the privilege she had waited so long for in the first place.

Helping My Dog
Post from guest writer William Monte
Back a few years ago when my dog Benny was beginning to show signs of old age, I turned for information on my satellite internet Reno NV connection. I figured that in addition to being able to find out exactly what is wrong with him, I could also find out which kinds of holistic medicines would make him have a better quality of life. The first thing that I did was read the forums, where I saw that there were other people that were having to manage their dog's old age in the same ways that I was going to have to.
My dog's eyes were starting to get cloudy, so I even uploaded a picture of them for other people to tell me what I should do about it. Not only did I get a free diagnosis, but I met a good amount of friends also. I got so tired of having to wait for hours just to be rushed out the door by the veterinary doctors, that I have to find other resources out there for these questions. I also found out that there are herbs that could be ground up into Benny's food, causing some of his other ailments to disappear. These people have started to become as if they family to me. Showing genuine concern for the well being of my animal, and me too. I have received more help from hughes satellite internet than I thought possible.

My new iphone
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Yamaha. All opinions are 100% mine.
Ever since my co-worker got his iPhone I've been dreaming about getting my own iPhone. That dream became a reality last month when my contract with my cell phone contract with my latest communications provider expired and i was free to shop around. I told my wife a long time ago that i would buy the iPhone when my contract expired and thats exactly what i did. This phone has so much capability i'm just amazed at what it can do. I was going to get a GPS system for our car but the iPhone already has its on GPS system and my wife and i use it all the time to find restaurants or famous attractions outside of our town. I use my iPhone at work a lot to chat with my wife or listen to music. I've built quite a library of music and have transferred all my music to my iPhone. I've been using the speakers from a co-workers stereo reciever to listen to my music. Then i came into work one day and my co-worker who has his own iPhone turned around and surprised me with the new Yamaha PDX-60 speaker dock system. Now i'm jealous because after i heard how great it sounded compared to the speakers i'm currently using, there is no comparison. I want one now! What i really like most about the yamaha PDX-60 speaker dock system is the wireless capability and not having to mess with wires and fumbling thru cables to get the right ones for the speakers. Its great because you can take your music anywhere you want and have instant music for everyone to enjoy. The sound is so crisp and clear and the bass really stands out. I'll have to ask my wife if i can buy this for my iPhone.

New search engine
I visited the leapfish website to help me find a movie that was on TV last week but i didn't know the name of the movie. I've tried searching by the name of the actors who played in the movie but i only know the name of one actor which is Alec Baldwin. I've been going crazy trying to find the name of this movie so i can rent the movie at home and watch it. The real time web search was nice but I'm still having some difficulty finding the movie name since i don't know it. The search results were good as it gave me a lot of things about Alec Baldwin movies, filmography, awards, photos and interviews about Alec Baldwin as well as a biography website but i still can't find the movie. The real time web search offered up a lot of information concerning recent bloggings about Alec Baldwin as well as other information that was very useful in helping me find the movie I'm looking for. I also liked how i can seamlessly integrate leapfish with my facebook account and it allows me to do so much stuff. So my search goes on for the mystery movie that was showing on TV Saturday November 7th around 10:30am about a 9 yr old boy with autism who cracks a top secret government computer code with a simple word puzzle book. Alec Baldwin was in the movie and a friend of mine says Bruce Willis was in it too but i could only watch about 20 minutes of the movie since i was at work so it doesn't help my search capabilities much does it? Well, i like the leapfish search engine and will use it more often.
What is the name of this movie?

My military career in the navy
The military police on our ship had it better because they used a lapel microphone and it was much lighter than the one the cooks used. We used to always give the military police a hard time because of that. I kinda wish i had gone to A-school so i could be working in flight operations on the flight deck because i enjoyed being outside on the top of the ship. Our ship had a flight deck in the aft end of the ship that allowed helicopters to land and every time we would have flight training i would go topside to check out the action. All the flight crew used electret micophone to stay in communication with the aircraft that would be landing on our ship. It was cool to watch these big helicopters come so close to the flight deck and land.
