Family fun at Mountain Hawk Park

It's always nice if you can take some time off with the kids and take them to some place nice like Disneyland or Universal Studios but it can also be expensive unless you have a year membership but still you need to have money for food, gas, and souvenirs for the kids. Being that tomorrow will be my son's first day of school in first grade, we decided to take him and his little sister to some place close here in San Diego like a park. This way I don't have to do a lot of driving and spending too much money. So that's what we did today. We learned of this nice park next to Otay Lakes and this park has a water play area where the kids can play. You know those amusement parks that have water shooting out of the ground at different sizes and angles and such? Well, that's what our kids did today. Especially my son as he likes to play in the water. We had some barbecue as well and I ate a lot as usual. We had a lot of fun today and it didn't cost us an arm and a leg to do it. That's the best kind of fun a family can have, good clean fun without spending a lot of money.

Well, it is always more fun when you don't think of having to spend a fortune just to have fun. hahahaha.... My kids would love the park as well since kids just pretty much love to be in the water splashing, playing with other kids and have fun. Looks like one great, inexpensive trip it was to the park. Weather sure has been tough lately. Visiting you mommy!

I just wish we have this kind of family park here in our place. And if we do have, it will cost us big too with fees...!
