Triathlon In San Diego To Benefit Research For Crohn's Disease

I was watching the fox 5 news this morning and one of the highlights of the newscast was about this tri-rock marathon being held in downtown San Diego for a good cause. It's a charity event to raise funds to benefit Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis research. Triatheletes will compete against each other in a harbor swim in the San Diego bay, a flat bike and run course that will take them along the beautiful San Diego coastline before celebrating at the post race concert in Embarcadero park. What a great cause for those who suffer from Crohn's disease. I took some picture of this mornings news 5 newscast showcasing the event. It's a beautiful place to have a triathlon. I don't have this disease but I thought it was a good idea to mention about awareness of this because it can affect anyone. It causes inflammation and irritation in the intestines. The most common symptom of Crohn's disease is abdominal pain. You can check out more information on the web if you need to.
