Well, this year is almost over and I'm looking forward to the new year. Along with the new year, I have to start thinking about filing my income taxes. I don't know why but a lot of people put off doing their taxes until the last minute and some people dred when it comes to doing their taxes. I used to do my taxes myself every year but as the tax laws changed, it just got to be too confusing and I was taking a big risk of making some mistakes which could have cost me money and or a possible red flag for audit by the IRS. I didn't want to take that chance so I finally decided to leave my tax headaches to a professional tax preparer. I haven't regretted my decision ever since because every year I can always look forward to some kind of refund. One thing I always do is to make sure the IRS takes out more taxes than they normally would by reducing the amount of people I claim on my w-4 form. It's wise advice because you can receive more back at the end of the year. It like putting money in your bank account.
