Play time at the shopping mall

Yesterday we had to go to JC Penny to return some red sparkly hat that my daughter picked out the previous day but when we took it home, she didn't want to wear it so yesterday we had to take it back. Our plans were to go to Jerome's, then to JC Penny, and finally to my daughters doctor to have some paper filled out so we could mail it to Community health group but as always, when you least expect it, all your plans can go south. So we needed to kill some time so we took our daughter to the play area and have her sit on the rides. She had so much fun and didn't want to leave. I feel sad for her because I don't have a lot of time to take my kids to places and besides, we have only 1 car and I use it to go to work. Atleast my daughter was able to get out for a little while. Play area inside Plaza Bonita shopping mall

After a few games of Brunswick bowling at eastlake bowl I took the kids to plaza bonita shopping mall to get some exercise in the kids play area. It's one of their favorite places to go because there is a train that they can ride or some motorized toy animals they can ride. If they ride the toy animals, they can choose from a puppy dog, a lion, a hello kitty, or an elephant. Of course every time we go to plaza bonita the kids want to ride both the rides but that won't happen because it cost money. They have to choose which one they want. Anyways, this picture was taken with them in the kids play area running around chasing the other kids. There's some slides they can slide on, some stationary animals they can climb on, or a tunnel they can go through. The floors are carpeted to keep the kids from getting boo boos. Some parts of the walls have spinning disc or round rollers with different signs on them so they can be matched. There's other kinds that are filled with sand to mimic the sound of rain when turned, all with the kids imagination in mind. And then there's a part of the wall that has pictures of 4 animals on them with buttons next to each animal that they can push to create the animals sound. I can remember when the play area was shutdown to rebuild it to look the way it does now. It took a long time to remodel and at that time, it was just our son Ethan, since or daughter briannah was not born yet so we didn't kn ow were to take our son for recreation. Now this place is getting crowded and soon they will need to make it bigger but it's a great place to take the kids.

Another trip to legoland

The other day we went back to legoland for a second time to take advantage of the 2 day pass we paid for. We visited the rest of the rides that we hadn't been on the first time we went. Although this time I didn't get wet with the kids. It was really all about the kids having fun. They wanted to visit mini town again so they can play in the playhouse and slides and they took many train rides on the train. We wanted to save money on food so this time I cooked Cantonese fried rice and brought it with us. Food can be so expensive at legoland.
