Sea World theme park

Not my photo

This year my family and I want to take the kids to Sea World but we just can't find it in our budget to make it happen. Sea World keeps sending me emails about special offers for me and my family and it looks really tempting but I told my wife we just can't do it and maybe next year we will do it. My son keeps bugging me to take him to Lego land and my daughter wants to go to Sea World. Although I'm not the kind of father to deprive my kids of having fun, when it comes to a decision of eating or having fun at a theme park, I would rather eat. I  think next year after the tax season is over, we're going to be in a much better position to take our kids to Sea World. I can't wait because my wife and I love Sea World too!

Summer vacation 2012 coming

Summer is almost here and that means my son will be out of school and he can get to play with his little sister more often. Summer vacation also means many weeks of fun for the kids like going to disneyland, the San Diego zoo, and the beach. This year Universal Studios Hollywood will be having a special where you can visit them for a day and get the rest of 2012 free when you bring in any empty Coka Cola can. We will take advantage of this deal and we will be going around the first week of july. My work just got done bidding for the new shift and I was fortunate to get Sunday and Monday off so I can have time to have a weekend day off with my kids. We will take our best friend to Universal Studios Hollywood because she's really been wanting to visit this park. My wife and I have also had plans to visit the park for quite a while now and we're excited to go. We will stay there for 2-3 days and enjoy this time with our kids.

Family day at Disneyland park

MellowYellowMondayBadge Smiling Sally

Last Friday I decided to call my sons school and excuse him for the day because I had plans to take the kids and wife to Disneyland in Anaheim, Ca. Anyways, he had been having a little bit of a cough and I didn't want to spread his cough to his classmates. I told my kids I was going to take them somewhere but I didn't tell them where and as we were driving to Anaheim, my daughter quickly fell asleep but my son was so curious with anticipation because we told them it was a surprise so all the way there he never fell asleep. By the time we got to Anaheim and he saw some Disneyland buses he started saying "Daddy, Disneyland buses" Look Daddy. He says, "Daddy, are we going to Disneyland" ? OK, so he figured it out. Smart kid he his. Then my daughter woke up and they were all excited. So we spent most of the day there. Had a great time, seen the parade twice, got a lot of photos including one with mickey mouse but my daughter was too scared. I don't understand her. If you have kids, you really need to take them to Disneyland where they can really be a kid and have fun with all their favorite characters. This picture was taken at Disneyland California Adventure park. It's mainly for adults but there are some rides that your children can go on.

Our visit to Disneyland Resort

Lately for the past few years my wife and I have purchased membership tickets to different attractions or theme parks. Last year it was to Sea World. The year before that was the San Diego Zoo. Although last year we did visit Disneyland in California, we did not have a yearly membership pass so this year my wife and I decided to do something special for our 2 children by getting a year membership disneyland tickets. We've used the passes one time so far but we're planning to go many more times before the end of the year so that we get our money's worth. The first time we went, my children just loved the park. It brings back memories of when my wife and I were just kids. There's so much to see and do there. My wife took all kinds of photos of our visit to the park. I especially like "The World Of Color" at the Adventure Park. It's a light show on water synchronized to different movies you remember as a kid. If you want to see this show, I suggest you reserve seats before 10am in the morning otherwise you may not get a good view of the show as the show fills up quickly and it's standing room only which you don'rt want to do. The other part of the park is Disneyland Resort which is more suited towards the kids. You will see all different kinds of Disneyland characters walking around like Snow White, Mickey Mouse, Mini Mouse, Donald Duck. All the characters you remember seeing on TV. But it's hard to get some photos with them because they are always walking around so you have to be fast. We got some photos with some of the characters. My kids love the Disney railroad train where it passes by different parts of Disneyland like Toontown, Fantasyland, Adventureland, Bugsland, Carsland and Tomorrowland. My son and daughter also love The Autopia where you can drive a car around a track. The last time we rode the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. It was so cool and lifelike. It your looking for wholesome family fun, you must visit Disnayland in California. You will have so much fun you want to come back again and again. My kids keep asking us when we will return. We will go back after my son has his summer vacation.

Trip to hollywood

Last week I was able to take 4 days off from work and take the wife and kids to Hollywood, CA and see some famous tourist places. We also visited Disneyland. We stayed at the Hollywood Hotel since we have been there before and were familiar with the location in relationship to were Hollywood blvd is. We visited the famous Beverly Hills parks with the sign. We also visited the greystone park. It's a historical park that was once a mansion for entertaining famous celebrities. We walked through downtown hollywood taking pictures of famous t.v. characters. My kids enjoyed the mickey mouse diner with all the toys for sale. We took the tour bus for 2 hours and seen many movie stars houses but most of them are hidden behind bushes and large trees. We had a great time but we wont be staying at the Hollywood inn again. We had problems with the tv reception and the bath tub draining and noises from people in the hotel room above us.

Disneyland and friends

Today I'm excited to go to work and find out if my request for paid time off (PTO) on the weekend of February 18, 2012. I wanted to take that weekend off to take the family to Beverly Hills and Disneyland since my son will have 4 days off that weekend. We went to Disneyland last year but it was only for one day but we still had lots of fun and now we want to return. I can remember when we first arrived there and made our way to the park entrance, we immediately saw mickey mouse and my wife said "let's go get some picture taken with mickey mouse and the kids" I was reluctant and told my wife that we can do it later. Big mistake. We were only able to find mickey mouse one more time but took forever to get pictures taken with mickey mouse and it was hot, very hot. All in all, we had a very fun time and my kids loved the different rides. Here's some picture of me and the family at our day in Disneyland. Hope you like them.

Family fun at Sea World

I took the kids and wife to sea world the other day and we all had a great time. We took them to the snow and my son was enjoying himself immensely and my daughter started to get into the snow for the first time. We only have till the end of the month and our membership pass will expire so I want to take the family several more times. I could see my son was excited as we drove to sea world because he was talking so much about shamu and all the rides like the "Elmo's flying fish ride" and "Abby's tea cup ride". My son wanted me to take him to climb the "net climb" over at the "Bay of play" for the kids. Not only did father and son climb the nets once but we did it three times. I was beat after the third time. The kids like to play a game were as there's these plastic ducks swimming in a pool and they must pick one to win a prize. They both won rubber ducky's. We took a ride on the sky ride and got a bird's eye view of san Diego. All in all, we had a great day and look forward to one more day of fun at sea world before the year. I hope you like the video of the sky ride.

Another trip to legoland

The other day we went back to legoland for a second time to take advantage of the 2 day pass we paid for. We visited the rest of the rides that we hadn't been on the first time we went. Although this time I didn't get wet with the kids. It was really all about the kids having fun. They wanted to visit mini town again so they can play in the playhouse and slides and they took many train rides on the train. We wanted to save money on food so this time I cooked Cantonese fried rice and brought it with us. Food can be so expensive at legoland.

Legoland water park

I will be having a procedure to remove a piece of metal from my left eye lid next Thursday and after that I will need to rest for 2 weeks so I was hoping we could take the kids to Legoland Before I have my procedure because I won't be of much help after my procedure. The doctor said I will experience a black eye for a few days. My wife, kids and me have never been top Legoland before and we want to give our kids something fun to do. My kids really enjoy playing in the water at home especially my son Ethan. I reviewed their website and seen so many different kinds of rides and things for the kids to do. I'm hoping we can spend a full day there so the kids will enjoy themselves. I'm also hoping it will be warm so the kids will enjoy the water. Here are some pictures I took from the website. Looks like it will be a lot of fun for the kids!

Kids having fun at sea world

The other day I took the family to sea world again because wee have season tickets and my children had a great time. Here is a picture of them posing with none other than Elmo and Zoe from sesame street. They really enjoy going on the different rides at sea world. Now when we are at home my son keeps saying he loves shamu and he misses him. Hehehehe. Kids are so funny. I told him we'll go back to sea world some day when daddy is not busy on his day off. My daughter just wants to walk every where and never gets tired. If we try to pick her up, she will just cry.

A Trip to Disney is in Order!

Guest post written by Paul Sanders

Going to Disney World is like a rite of passage in our family. Now that Max, our youngest grandbaby, is 7 (and old enough to enjoy it!) we've decided it's high time for another trip down to Orlando to visit. We've taken all the kids there so far, and we seem to go back at least once every few years. So we're gearing up for another trip and we couldn't be more ready to get out of Georgia for a few days. I Max is looking most forward to going to Universal Studios to see Nickelodeon, though my wife and I thoroughly enjoy all the food variety at Epcot.

They've really got every country covered--Mexico, Germany, England...you have to pace yourself when you go eat there, because everything looks so good and you just want to try it all! My favorite thing they serve is probably the sauerkraut you get on the sausages at the Germany stop. Definitely worth the trip, itself!

Before we go, I'm going to remind my wife to go to HearingAidsbyMiracleEar.com to check out possible hearing aid options. She's needed some for a while, so maybe this trip is just the push she needs. It's sure to be a blast, either way!

Dream to visit Walt Disney World

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Kissimmee Tourism. All opinions are 100% mine.

Though I used to live on the east coast of the united states in Massachusetts, I never was able to travel to different parts of the country. I'm living in San Diego now with my wife and 2 children. One of my dreams has been to visit Walt Disney World in Kissimmee , Florida. Of course I have never experienced an air boat ride before so I wouldn't want to miss taking an Orlando Airboat Adventure on Lake Toho which by the way is conveniently located only minutes from Walt Disney World. It would be an awesome experience to see the wilderness and headwaters that feed the everglades. My wife and I want to stay at the Barefoot'n resort luxury condo resort because it's a good location with good rates which translates into more fun and less headaches. Located close to most major attractions so we wont spend a lot of time traveling and more time sightseeing. My children love to see animals here at the San Diego Zoo but what more if we can take them to the Green meadows petting farm were they can actually get up close and personal with the farm animals and pet them and be educated about how they live. My wife would take lots of pictures of our children playing with the animals. We would also like to take our children to the Fun spot of Florida, Inc. Action park were they have all kinds of kids rides, adult rides, multi-level go karts, video game. It's a Full-Scale family fun park. Kissimmee, Florida is a place we dream of going to to relax, unwind and rejuvenate ourselves. We've been planning a vacation for a long time but at the last minute we always cancel our plans. Hopefully someday soon we can take our dream vacation. You can plan your dream vacation too by visiting http://bit.ly/dlBGMutoday and save money on special packages
