Getting my son ready for campus life

This post was sponsored by Sears. All the opinions are mine. If I'm going to send my son to college i would want my son to feel as close to home as possible. I want to make sure my son has the best and is CampusReady so i chose to shop the gamers play ground dorm room because i know my son loves computers, music and technology. He can use the laptop to communicate with his parents and when he's not studying he can play with this cool blue Nintendo DS lite or watch a movie on the 32 inch HDTV with surround sound stereo. I like the black plaid comforter set with the black accent pillows. If money was no object i would purchase the Nintendo Wii system, the compact refrigerator to keep his food fresh, aspire notebook computer. Since my wife does the budgeting for our family i would have her create a budget and allowance system so that our son could always have money when he needs it. I think it would be a great idea for him to have a bicycle so that he can save money and not have to use money for public transportation and besides, its a great way to get cardio exercise. Since he doesn't have a cell phone i think it would be wise to save money by purchasing phone cards so when he calls us long distance it wont cost him a fortune. He really wants us to buy him some new jeans and t-shirts for his new college life away from home since he wore out all his other jeans and clean underwear is always a "must have" in our house. My son and i both have facebook accounts but now that sears has created CampusReady on Facebook it will make the transition to college life that much easier for my son. College life is not easy but with some careful planning we're hoping we can make our son's life away from home as pleasant as possible.
