Strange and Interesting facts about the world we live in
The earth that we all live on is a very big and strange place to live. Strange things happen every day that most of us never get to hear about. Hear are some things you may have never heard. For instance, did you know that, on average 12 newborns will be given to the wrong parents daily! That would probably explain some of the missing children reports. Did you know that there are no words in the dictionary that rhyme with the words orange, purple and silver. Chewing gum while peeling onions will keep you from crying. The dot over the letter "i" is called a "tittle" . The sentence "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" uses every letter of the alphabet. It is impossible to lick your elbow. Question: If your were to spell out numbers, how far would you have to go until you would find the letter "A"? Answer: One Thousand. 111,111,111 x 111,111,111 = 12,345,678,987,654,321 Half of all Americans live 50 miles within what? Their birthplace.
