My little boy’s sore throat story & cold sores

This post brought to you by © Blue Shield of California. All opinions are 100% mine.

Of course, it is always a joy in the family to have kids. Having two awesome kids means double the joy but sometimes our two sources of joy can become sources of worry. Our little man in the house is just so active recently and he can’t put himself in a place for few minutes; he needs to do something to keep himself busy. It’s no wonder that one day he came home with a sore throat and cold sores. When I asked how he got it, he said he was just cheering for his friends who were playing football in their P.E time in school.

Thankfully, I found refuge in Dr. Jim and Bob's Fun & Helpful Health Advice in Blue Shield of California Facebook page. Blue Shield is a non-profit company that offers easy access to alternative care, like chiropractors and acupuncture. Aside from that, they also provide easy access to great doctors and they also offer a wide range of affordable health plans.

Dr. Jim and Bob is a dynamic duo that posts helpful solutions to health problems. Apparently, they spend time scanning the web to look for some health problems of which they will answer. They offer informative and entertaining approach in discussing some common problems we encounter every day. The good thing is that, they present their videos in such a way that you will not only learn but these guys will also entertain you.

This will be a great source of alternative care and would save us a trip to the doctor as well.

I love the video! I agree! This is something to consider when it comes to treating cold sores which mostly can be found at school. Also, a great info which doctor's visit won't be necessary by then.

First time to hear about this, but will definitely check it out when I need advice about my kids' health.

In this day and age, the internet is really the first thing I check out when my kids come down with something, it's cheaper and the results are accurate each and every time, I only go to the doctor when the home remedies I find online don't work and if my kids' don't get better after a day or 2 and of course if it seems like they really need medical attention. :P
