Browsing online…

I am waiting for someone online and to keep me occupied I’m browsing for some interesting stuff online. I’m a mechanic by profession and we do some minor welding work at our shop, I went ahead and googled welding materials and I came across with this website called World Leader in Plastic Assembly Solutions. I think this website is very interesting since it is somewhat similar to what I do at work. Hot plate plastic welding is one of the machines that caught my attention. I read and learned that this machine is used to weld sizable and crooked shaped plastic parts with difficult curves and joint lines. It must be cool to work on this thing. The kind of welding I do at work is steal welding; once in a while I weld some broken brackets and parts for the busses and since I don’t do it often I basically lose my touch and steady coordination, which can be hard at times. Anyway, it’s nice to learn something new each day. At least in the future when I encounter such machine I will have an idea of what it is for. I don’t think my work will buy a machine like this though.

This is a cool welding machine to have in a machine shop :) I had work in a machine shop b4 but I do not think the owner have this welding on their machine shop :-)
