Sanyo 52" LCD TV or Toshiba 55" LCD TV

My wife and I are planning on buying a LCD TV next year once we get our tax return but there's so many models to choose from and so many available features, we are confused on which one to buy. We went to walmart to look at some TV's and finally settled on a sanyo after many trips to walmart. When I got home, I was curious about what other people, who had bought a sanyo thought about their new TV so I checked out the reviews of 29 people and I was surprised to see that the 52" sanyo model # DP52440 had many complaints about the sound being out of sync with the video. I noticed there were lots of complaints also about it not being a good TV for playing video games. One comment from a man who sells these TV's said that he sells this product and its one of the most competitive products for features and price. You can check out all the reviews of this LCD TV at the store website. I'm glad I did my homework because my wife and I decided against buying this TV for these reasons. I went to the Best Buy website and found a 55" Toshiba model # 55HT1U TV for 1 dollar more and 3 inches bigger. I read the reviews and I only found 1 complaint. The bad thing is you can't connect to the internet with this TV but that's OK. I hope those who are looking for a good TV will find this article useful.

State fair fun time

Guest post written by Natalie Rogers

I hate to admit it, but I've never been to the state fair. i've just always gone to the county one because I grew up four hours from the state captial and my parents never wanted to drive that far when we had teh county fair to go to. So now that I'm in college and just about a 20 minute drive from the fair grounds, I've decided to go with my roommmate.

There's a bus that takes us from campus to the fairgrounds for free, so I'm pretty psyched about that. I found that info with our DIRECT TV internet bundle CLEAR and that also we get a student discount! I'm all about saving money as much as I can, besides I am a poor unemployed college student.

Now, I love riding scary rides but now that I'm a little bit older they scare me a little more because I worry about the safety of them. So what we're most excited about is the section of the fair where all teh food vendors are and eat our weight in fried food.

Girls Next Door

Guest post written by Kim Knoxs

One of the best reality shows on television is called "Girls Next Door." I am addicted to this reality show, because it depicts the lives of three playmates living at Hef's Playboy mansion. I think it is an amazing show and always try to watch it on my direct tv hd receiver. Why is this show so fascinating? Well, first it is just interesting to see the pure luxury that comes along with living in a place like the Playboy mansion. There are servants willing to help the Playmates for just about anything! In addition, it is cool to watch the staff be on hand and available to the girls 24/7. There are always awesome events being hosted at the Playboy mansion too. Each Playmate is usually responsible for throwing one or two events of her own throughout the season of "Girls Next Door." One fun episode featured Kendra throwing her event, which was a baseball game complete with hot dog vendors and cotton candy machines. Another fun episode features a rolling skating event, where a set of twins decided to throw this fun event. It seems like some of the Playmates are genuine people too and actually care about Hef, which is also nice to see.

I love watching the show Girls Next Door and recommend it for anyone with an interest in the life of high profile celebs getting to live at the mansion!
